Mariupol Illich Mining was visited by ecologists from Germany

According to the newspaper "Ilyichvevets", this week a delegation of representatives of the friendly Germany was admitted to the Ilyich plant. The German Consul General in Ukraine Klaus Tsillikens led German representatives. Among the members of the delegation, the deputy of the German parliament, Mrs. Viola von Kramon, was seen.

The guests who arrived in Mariupol wished to familiarize themselves with the peculiarities of production at local metallurgical enterprises, in order to later make their proposals for the revival and preservation of the Mariupol nature, as well as show promising processes such as plasma cutting of metal and others.

"The purpose of our visit is not only acquaintance with the enterprise, but also discussing possible projects and further cooperation of the governments of Germany and Ukraine. An important aspect is energy efficiency and energy conservation, a careful attitude to resources. It is necessary to reduce their consumption and at the same time take measures to reduce harmful loads, influence on people's health, making production more clean and safe. This is my first acquaintance with heavy industry, therefore it is difficult for me I can say that I have seen here hope and confidence that this production is to withstand competition in the world market, you need to be able to adapt to its requirements, to be very flexible. Representatives of Germany visited the Ilyich MMK converter and his leaf -rolling camp 3000. He presented the entire process, starting from steel smelting and ending with the rental of thick -power steel. During the submission to the Germans' questions, the head of the converter workshop and part -time deputy chief engineer of the Ilyich plant, Alexander Larionov, personally answered.
