ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih develops cooperation with Belarus

It is planned to increase trade and economic ties between Ukraine and Belarus due to the mutual growth of purchases of demanded products, as noted by the General Director of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" Paramzhit Kalon during his speech at the Ukrainian-Belarusian Forum "Cooperation and Partnership", which was first held in Krivoy Horn

The forum was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol, General Director of the BelAZ company Petr Parkhomchik, representatives of the mayor's office, teachers of the Krivoy Rog Technical University, students, heads of large industrial enterprises of the city.

Igor Sokol, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine:
- Among the regions of Ukraine, the Dnipropetrovsk region ranks second in the export of Belarusian products, second only to Kiev. This is a great merit of industrial enterprises of Krivoy Rog. The holding of this forum has become a confirmation of the effective trade and economic relations between Belarus and Ukraine.

Paramjit Kalon, General Director of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih:
- Mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukrainian and Belarusian enterprises can move to a new stage when increasing purchases of demanded products - then this will become another step towards a successful partnership between the two countries. Ukraine buys a lot of Belarusian goods, in particular, our enterprise is one of the largest clients of the BelAZ company. I hope that the Republic of Belarus, in turn, will increase the purchase of Ukrainian products, including rolled metal products from PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.

He emphasized that the union of science and business always brings the best results - he invited them to take part in the joint development of new technological solutions for production, and reminded the students about the employment opportunities at the largest enterprise of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine.

At the Forum, Paramjit Kalon was presented with a badge of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Ukraine "For friendship and cooperation."
