Metallurgical production of Donetsk region in July increased by 8 percent

In July 2019, compared to the previous month, production volumes in metallurgical production and production of finished metal products in the Donetsk region of Ukraine increased by 8.1%. However, compared to July 2018, metallurgical production and production of finished metal products decreased by 7.0%. This was reported on Tuesday by Main Department of Statistics in Donetsk Region . Pig iron production in January-July 2019 amounted to 4.6 million tons, which is 7.6% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Steel production, amounting to 4.7 million tons, decreased by 0.6% compared to January-July 2018. The output of hot-rolled flat products in January-July 2019 increased by 8.4% compared to the same period in 2018, cold-rolled products - by 1.7%. Coke production in January-July 2019 amounted to 2.8 million tons, which is 10.5% less than in January-July 2018. Production output in metallurgical production and production of finished metal products decreased by 2.4% compared to January-July 2018.
