Turkey exported about 18,000 tonnes of cold rolled steel coils (CRC) in August, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), a 45% decrease from the same month a year ago and significantly lower than the 30,300 tonnes in the previous month. ,
Among them, Spain was the main destination with around 6,000 tonnes. Turkey still has not exported CRCs to the US this month, up from 14,000 tonnes in August last year.
In addition, Turkey imported about 57,000 tons of CRC in August. Russia was the main supplier with 28,000 tonnes.
