IMF cuts global growth forecast to 10-year low

In line with the global tightening of economic conditions, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) indicated that the latest forecast for global economic growth from October 15 showed that global economic growth this year will be 3%, which is the lowest since 2009.

As a result, the IMF is cutting global economic growth to a new low in the last ten years. Moreover, the IMF lowered its forecast for global economic growth for 2020 from 3.5% to 3.4%, as well as leading countries such as the United States, China, the EU and India.
