NLMK Indiana recorded a subsidiary of the NLMK group (Novolipetsk Immocoline), a new record in the production of steel. The American metallurgical plant from January to October 2012 smelted 617 thousand tons of steel and produced 586 thousand tons of hot -rolled sheet metal rolling. At the same time, the electric stoves of the enterprise were loaded by 96.1%.
Given the dynamics of production development and permanent improvement of indicators, it is planned to achieve 15% of growth before the end of this year. According to the press service of the NLMK group, the reached high indicators of the production of steel and metal rolling steel are possible as a result of increasing efficiency, expanding the range of products, strengthening market positions and the presence of high carbon steel and barns on the market.
In 2013, the American capacity of Russian descent planned to put into operation a completely new equipment for electric steel production, pouring slabs and flat rental production. The launch of the new line is scheduled for the third quarter of next year.
