Zaporizhzhya asset of the Group Metinvest Combine Refreshstal announced the completion of the reconstruction of the agglomeration machine No. 1. The project for the reconstruction of the unit and equip the agglomeashin with modern gas cleaning systems was provided for by the "Exiting Environmental Crisis of the City of Zaporozhye", adopted at one time by the regional council.

Today, construction and installation work is being completed at Aglomashin No. 1 of the Zaporizhstal plant. The volume of investments aimed at reconstruction, taking into account the cost of the gas cleaning system, will be about 240 million hryvnias.

“This large -scale construction emphasizes the responsibility of the Zaporizhstal plant and its management of effective decisions. Only professionals can do such grandiose work in three months. Assessing the contribution of the plant, I am ready to put six points on the five-point system, ”the chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Administration A. Peklushenko told reporters during the visit.

“The aglomashin reconstruction project, first of all, gives an environmental effect. Improving ecology, reducing the technogenic load on the environment of the region is our debt to residents of the Zaporizhzhya Territory, ”said Rostislav Shurma, Director General of Zaporizhstali.
