Industrial plan agreement signed for Ilva

ArcelorMittal announced that AM InvestCo has signed an agreement with the government designated Ilva, which sets the stage for continuing negotiations on a new industrial plan for Ilva. One of the points in this plan includes discussion of significant equity investments in a government-controlled entity.

The new industrial plan will include investments in green technologies, including through a new company funded by public and private investors. Negotiations will continue until January.

Meanwhile, at a hearing on December 20, Ilva and AM InvestCo's commissioners requested a further postponement until the end of January of the Ilva commissioners' interim measures.
