Steel production in India may increase by 13 million tons

According to statistics, total steel production in India by fiscal 2022 may increase by 13 million tons.

The main reason for the significant increase in capacity was due to the fact that many domestic factories decided to expand the skill of their enterprises, such as JSW Steel, Tata Steel and the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC).

The main increase came from Tata Steel (5 million tons), JSW Steel (5 million tons) and NMDC (3 million tons).
