The construction of a metallurgical plant in Tyumen is in full swing. The plant is called "UMMC-STAL" and will produce a variety rental for consumers of the Tyumen, Omsk, Kurgan and Sverdlovsk regions. Products will be used in machine -building and oil and gas industries, as well as in the construction industry.
Construction and design of buildings a metallurgical plant is the result of interaction between the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company and the leadership of the Tyumen region. Equipment for the plant for the production of varietal rental is supplied by the Italian company Danieli. It is planned that the plant will produce 545 thousand tons of varietal rental per year.
In December 2012, equipment will be tested at the UMMK-Stal metallurgical plant. For the first time, electricity will be supplied to the plant substation. Within one month, specialists will test the equipment and only after that will test the electric arc furnace. To complete the construction of a metallurgical plant and put it into operation at the end of 2013.
