Atlas Copco will put equipment in Colombia

The company Atlas Copco, which produces equipment for drilling and mining, received a large order for the supply of equipment for the implementation of the hydropower project in Columbia. The amount of the order is about ten million dollars. The main production units of the company are located in Sweden, the United States, Canada, China and India.

Atlas Copco will supply only 28 machines that perform underground, superficial and exploratory drilling wells , as well as stationary and portable compressors. According to the agreement concluded with the CCC iTuang consortium, the company will provide all consumables. Delivery of equipment will be fully carried out throughout 2013.

During the crisis for Atlas Copco, Colombia became a very important market amid the reduction in production at the Atlas Copco Rock Drills factory in Sweden. The company, founded in 1873, is based in Stockholm (Sweden) and has representative offices in more than 170 countries.
