Krasnoyarsk Territory plans to further develop metallurgy

The leadership of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is currently actively working on the program of the ten -year development of metallurgy. Nickel prices in 2012, compared with 2011, fell by 6.7 thousand dollars per ton. In such conditions, the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum Plant emphasized high profitable production of expensive alloys. And, as a result, he achieved a slight increase in aluminum release (0.5%).

Many Nickel manufacturers incur losses this year, but the Norilsk Nickel GMC managed to maintain production volumes at the last year. This was achieved by increasing Nickel exports. In general, for metallurgy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory 2012, has become the year of large investment in the modernization of existing enterprises and the construction of new ones. The construction of the Boguchansky aluminum factory is in full swing, and soon the Zelenogorsk plant for the production of Nickel will be created.
