The Mariupol Metallurgical Plant "Azovstal" in December by 42% will increase the number of shipments of sheet steel by export. It is planned to send commodity slabs abroad in December 2012 by 4% more than in November, which will be approximately about 200 thousand tons.
It is planned to ship the domestic market of Ukraine by 25% less hot sheet. Thus, about 33 thousand tons of metal will be exported, and Ukrainian consumers will get more than 25 thousand tons of sheet.
The total amount of sheet steel shipped for export and the domestic market will be 57 - 59 thousand tons, which corresponds to the November level of sales. Shipping of shaped rental and rails are expected at the level of 52 thousand tons, which is 6%below November.
In general, by increasing the export of commodity slabs, the shipment of the metal rolling will be at the level of November 2012 and will be approximately 310 thousand tons.
