According to statistics published by the Association of Consumers and Suppliers of Special Steel and Alloys (Association Special Steel), the total volume of stainless steel imports to Russia in March 2021 amounted to 34,770 tons, which is 14.8% more than in the previous month.
During the reporting period, 247 Russian companies imported more than 1 ton of stainless steel, compared with 288 companies in February.
The total volume of imported stainless steel in March increased by 14% compared to the previous month and amounted to USD 86.82 million, but the average price per ton decreased by 0.7%.
