NLMK Group expands its range of structural steels

NLMK Group reportedly provided VinProf with a batch of weather-resistant steel for testing.

The product has increased resistance to atmospheric corrosion and is used for the manufacture of lattice systems - supporting structures of vines.

The key feature of this steel is the presence of an oxide layer or patina on its surface, which makes it difficult for oxygen to penetrate into the metal and prevents further corrosion. The main chemical components of steel are nickel, copper and chromium.
