According to statistics from the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), crude steel production in Germany was around 26.6 million tonnes in the first eight months of this year, an increase of almost 17% over the same period last year.
In August alone, steel production in this country reached 2.92 million tons, an increase of 3.4% over the same period last year. Growth rates have slowed down over the period.
