H2 Green Steel to build new steel plant in Northern Sweden

H2 Green Steel has received €3.5 billion in financial support from European financial institutions. The support will be used to build a new hydrogen-powered steel plant in Northern Sweden.

H2 Green Steel said the financial backing not only highlights its business case and debt-bearing capacity, but also improves to reach the Paris Agreement.

In addition, H2 Green Steel recently selected the German SMS group as the technology supplier for the H2 green steel plant.
