By 2030, SAIL's production capacity will be increased to 33 million tons

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) recently announced that it plans to increase annual production from 19.6 million tons to 33 million tons by 2030.

With the launch of the SAIL expansion plan, the annual capacity of the Bokaro plant will also increase from 4.6 million tons to 8.6 million tons.

According to the data, India's annual steel production is 120 million tons, the second largest in the world, and is expected to reach 300 million tons by 2030.
