Due to the increase in the oversupply of China's steel mills, a large amount of steel products have been dumped abroad at low prices, which has seriously affected the production and sale of related products in neighboring Asian countries.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Finance, Taiwan's exports of base metals and metal products in the first half of the year amounted to 14.7 billion US dollars, down 26.8% from the previous year, while exports also decreased by 22%.
Among them, the volume of exports of steel and products from it decreased by 27.8%, and other steels and products from them - by 25.2%.
