Production for the week ending October 4, 2025 decreased by 1.2 percent compared to the previous week ending September 27, 2025, when production was 1,770 million net tons and the capacity utilization rate was 78.1 percent.
For the week ending October 4, 2024, production amounted to 1.628 million net tons, and capacity utilization was 73.3 percent. Production this week represents an increase of 7.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Adjusted production from the beginning of the year to October 4, 2025 amounted to 68.498 million net tons with a capacity utilization rate of 77.1 percent. This is 2.3 percent more than 66.937 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 76.2 percent.
