At the Kametstal plant of the Metinvest Mining and Metallurgical Group (
Kamenskoye, Dnipropetrovsk region), a number of major repairs of the main rolling equipment have begun under the 2025 program.
According to the company, the first major repair was the condition of the pipe billet (TSP), the manufacturer of the SVP–27 mine flyover and the billet for large-diameter grinding layers.
At the same time, it is specified that at the main stage of the overhaul, the efforts of specialists from the metallurgical equipment repair shop and the equipment repair shop are aimed at updating energy resources, in particular, electrical and mechanical equipment of key large-scale sections, repair intervention in which is possible only with a complete long-term shutdown of the mill.
Thus, the lines of the manipulator are updated on the rolling section.
