According to statistics published by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January-July this year, exports of major types of steel and ferroalloys from France amounted to 5.73 billion euros, down 5.3 percent year on year.
During this period, France exported steel pipes and tubes worth 770.72 million euros - decrease by 4.5 percent, Cold-rolled steel bars by 272.61 million euros - decrease by 0.8 percent, cold-rolled steel strips by 398.37 million euros - decrease by 17.0 percent, cold-drawn wire by 177.94 million euros - decrease by 15.9 percent, metal structures and parts by 547.08 million euros - increase by 3.1 percent, all compared to the same period in 2024
