Spanish transport and distribution tank manufacturer Parcisa has announced an agreement with Finnish stainless steel manufacturer Outokumpu to produce tanks using Circle Green®, the stainless steel with the lowest carbon footprint in the world.
The partnership makes Parcisa the first company in its sector to adopting Outokumpu Circle Green® technology, which has 93 percent less carbon emissions. emissions than the global average for stainless steel. Outokumpu's steel production is already 77 percent lower in emissions than the industry average and meets stringent independent audit standards covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

The collaboration marks a significant step towards a more sustainable transport model. By using Circle Green® steel, Parcisa aims to make its tank trucks an active participant in Europe's energy transition, while reducing carbon emissions in the supply chain.
Parcisa integrates a variety of environmentally efficient features into its tank trucks, including:
- 100% recyclable polyethylene covers to reduce tank weight.
- Category A tires improve energy efficiency, reduce fuel or energy consumption and improve safety.
- Use of more durable materials extends tanker life and reduces waste.
- Intelligent monitoring systems (Parcisa Connect) to reduce carbon emissions on every delivery.
