Norilsk Nickel has begun testing the new Russian complex “Tunnel Drilling Assistant” (APB) at the Oktyabrsky and Skalisty mines.

The system ensures precise positioning of drilling rigs and conducts work using digital passports, reducing the risk of errors and increasing production efficiency.

This domestic product is designed to replace imported analogues, reducing costs and ensuring personnel safety. Previously, successful tests were already carried out at the Severny mine of the Kola MMC.
