The Association "Alliance of Strategic Metals "STANNUM"" and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic (KRDV) signed a cooperation agreement for the development of the metallurgical industry in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic at the forum "Minex Russia 2025".
The document is aimed at identifying key directions for the development of the production of strategic metals and provides for joint participation in state and international events, interaction in preparing proposals to improve legislation and regulation in the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, mining and other areas.
Leonid Gilchenko noted that cooperation with the KRDV will strengthen work on the formation of initiatives that will be discussed with industry ministries and the expert community. The first initiatives are planned to be presented this year.
Andrey Sharafutdinov emphasized that the Far East and the Arctic have significant resources for implementing projects in the field of mining and processing of metals, and government support makes this profitable and effective.
Previously, STANNUM entered into similar agreements with the NP Miners of Russia and others associations.
