The European Recycling Industries Confederation (EuRIC) has announced its official rebranding as Recycling Europe, marking a strategic evolution in its mission to represent the European recycling sector with a united voice as Europe grapples with rising trade tensions, commodity insecurity and urgent industrial needs. decarbonization.
The rebrand reflects the organization's aim to increase visibility and influence on European and international platforms, strengthening the role of recyclers as important contributors to the EU's climate, resource autonomy and circular economy goals.
Julia Ettinger, General Manager Secretary, said: “Recycling Europe embodies the evolution of the Confederation into a single, forward-thinking voice for recyclers across the continent. Although our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to ensure that recyclers are recognized and empowered as indispensable partners in building a circular and sustainable economy for Europe."
Recycling Europe will continue to represent recyclers across all material streams - metals, plastics, paper, textiles, tires, etc. - while promoting policies that promote innovation, investment and open markets.
