Based on the Chernogorskoye deposit, the largest deposit of platinum group metals, copper and nickel. The launch of the enterprise is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
The main characteristics of the project:
Design capacity: 7 million tons of copper-nickel ore per year.
Production: the company will become the second most important palladium and platinum production center in Russia.
Investments: the total volume of investments from 2020 to 2026 is 215.3 billion rubles.
Job creation: the implementation of the project will ensure the creation of about 1,600 new highly qualified jobs.
The construction is carried out by the company "Chernogorskaya GRK", part of the Russian Platinum group.
The meaning of the project
Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, stressed the importance of the project for the development of the mineral resource complex of the region and the country as a whole. It is planned that the development of the Chernogorskoye field will create a new center for the extraction of critically important metals such as copper, platinum and palladium. The geopolitical situation, including trade conflicts between major countries, increases the importance of projects of this scale aimed at ensuring stable supply of resources.
In addition, the second stage of construction is envisaged, including the development of the Norilsk-1 deposit, which will increase the total productivity of the complex to 14 million tons of ore annually.
