Exports of welded pipes from Turkey decreased by 1.4 percent in January-August 2025

In August of this year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey totaled 186,161 metric tons, up 24.8 percent from July and 14.4 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, revenue from these exports amounted to $152.32 million, an increase of 5.9% compared to the previous month and 6.9% year-on-year.

In the first eight months of the year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey amounted to 1.31 million tons, which is 1.4 percent less, while the value of these exports decreased by 9.7 percent to $1.14 billion year-on-year.

During this period, Romania was the largest export destination for welded pipes from Turkey, which received 212,035 tons, which is 12.1 percent less than last year. Romania is followed by the United Kingdom with 113,668 tons, down 0.9 percent, and Iraq with 103,081 tons, up 19.4 percent from the same period last year.
