As of October 1 of this year, the mineral resources sector of the Amur region is demonstrating steady growth in indicators. Gold was mined in the amount of 14,973.2 kilograms. The increase was 6.7 percent compared to last year.
Among gold mining enterprises, the leading positions are consistently held by JSC Pokrovsky Rudnik, LLC Malomyrsky Rudnik, JSC Priisk Solovyovsky.
The total volume of coal production amounted to 3,391 thousand tons, which is almost the same as last year (an increase of 2.6 thousand tons). The main coal mining companies remain Amur Coal JSC (brown coal) and Ogodzhinskaya Coal Company LLC (hard coal).
