Between January and September this year, China's total fixed asset investment (FAI) (excluding rural households) was 37.1535 trillion yuan (US$5.2 trillion), down 0.5 percent from last year, China's National Bureau of Statistics announced (NBS).
In the first nine months, the total number of FAIs in China's infrastructure grew 1.1 percent year on year. Fixed asset investment in China's mining and manufacturing sectors increased by 3.7 percent and 4.0 percent year-on-year, respectively, during the period.
