According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), the capacity utilization rate in smelting, rolling and processing of ferrous metals in China in the period from July to September of this year was 80.1 percent, which is 0.7 percentage points lower than last year.

Overall industrial capacity utilization in China in the period from July to September was 74.6 percent, down 0.6 percentage points from the same period last year, which is 0.6 percentage points higher than in the period April-June this year
