In the quarter, the company produced 133,000 tons of billets, compared with 218,000 tons in the second quarter of 2024, while pipe production was 140,000 tons, remaining unchanged year-on-year. In addition, Interpipe's railway output totaled 27,000 tons in the same quarter, down 6.9 percent from the 29,000 tons recorded in the second quarter of last year.
In the first half of the year, the company produced 352,000 tons of ingots, compared with 428,000 tons in the first half of 2024, while pipe production increased by 7.8 percent year-on-year to 278,000 tons. In addition, Interpipe's railway output decreased by 3.6 percent year-on-year to 54,000 tons over the period.
On the other hand, sales of billets and railway products of the company in January-June of this year decreased by 33.0 percent to 10,000 tons and 5.2 percent to 55,000 tons, respectively, while sales of pipes increased by 14.4 percent to 302,000 tons, all year-on-year.
