Productivity and employment
The total investment in the project reached about 830 million zlotys ($227.44 million). The new facility is designed to produce about 450,000 tons of steel products per year. Due to the high degree of automation, the plant will employ less than 120 people, which will significantly increase the economic efficiency and precision of production.
Automation, robotics and artificial intelligence
The plant has an automated high-bay storage system, robotics and AI-based process control, which ensures higher productivity and stable product quality. These innovations are designed to enhance Cognor's competitiveness in both domestic and export markets.
Product range and export markets
The rolling mill will produce ribbed bars and steel profiles used in the construction, energy, mechanical engineering and defense industries. Approximately 50 percent of the total production volume will be exported, primarily to the EU markets.
