India's state-owned NMDC limited has cut prices for all grades of lump iron ore and fines for all shipments with immediate effect, company sources said on Wednesday, October 22.
The price of lump iron ore (10-40 mm, 67 percent Fe content) has been reduced by INR 650 per ton ($7 per ton) to INR 6,200 per ton. ($70.67/t), without mining. The price of iron ore fines (less than 10 mm, Fe content 64 percent) has been reduced by INR 500 per ton ($6/t) to INR 4,750 per ton ($54.14/t) without mining. All prices include mandatory fees such as District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust (DMET) cession fee and forestry permits
