Today, analysts do not rule out that if current trends continue and the Central Bank's monetary policy weakens, the metal's share may continue to grow.
Over the past two years, the share of gold in global investment assets has grown from 4% to 6%, the highest in almost forty years, since 1986.

For comparison, during the gold boom of 1980, the share of gold reached 22% of all global assets - then, against the background of the dollar crisis and oil shocks, gold seemed to be the only safe haven. By 2000, when globalization was in full swing, this figure had dropped to 1% - the world believed in eternal growth and digital assets. Now the pendulum has swung back.
