In mid-October (October 11-20) of this year, the average price in China for 20 mm HRB 400E fittings decreased by 73.6 yuan/ton (10.4 US dollars/ton) or 2.3 percent and amounted to 3 110.5 yuan/ton (438 US dollars/ton) compared to the price in early October (October 1-10). as announced by the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
During the specified period, average prices for wire rod, medium steel sheet, hot-rolled roll (HRC), seamless steel pipes and corners decreased by 2.0 percent, 1.8 percent, 2.5 percent, 0.8 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively, compared with the beginning of October.
