China's core finished steel product inventories fell 1.1 percent in mid-October 2025

As of October 20 this year, the total domestic inventories of five major finished steel products in China's 21 major cities totaled 9.36 million tons, down 100,000 tons, or 1.1 percent, from October 10, the China Iron and Steel Industry Association (CISA) announced.

Specifically, as of October 20, domestic HRC inventories increased by 2.8 percent, domestic inventories of medium steel plate, wire rod and rebar decreased by 2.6 percent, 2.3 percent and 2.8 percent, respectively, while domestic CRC inventories remained stable compared to October 10.
