Turkish steelmaker Çemtaş Çelik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.
Ş. (Çemtaş) announced that it will temporarily suspend production at its smelter and rolling mill from October 23 to October 31 for scheduled maintenance and overhaul of the crane and scheduled replacement of the lining in the superheating furnace of the rolling mill. Production at the balancing plant will continue.
The Company does not expect the temporary shutdown to have a significant impact on overall production or sales.
