Worldsteel data shows India was the largest DRI producer among countries surveyed in September this year, with production DRI was 4.71 million metric tons for the month. India was followed by Iran, Russia and Saudi Arabia in September with production of 3.73 million tonnes, 650,000 tonnes and 580,000 tonnes respectively.
