Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation announced that its global vehicle production increased 3.8 percent year-on-year to 926,987 units in October this year. In particular, the company's domestic production increased by 6.8 percent to 326,832 units, while its foreign output increased by 2.2 percent year-on-year to 600,155 units.
Toyota's global vehicle sales totaled 922,087 units in October, up 2.1 percent year-on-year. Between January and October of this year, the company's global vehicle production grew by six percent year-on-year to 8,354,104 units, and its global sales totaled 8,705,094 units, an increase of 4.5 percent year-on-year.
