The volume of agglomerated products is expected to reach 31 million tons in 2025 and increase to 30-34 million tons in 2026, rising significantly to 60-70 million tons by 2030. Vale also plans to produce 30 million tons of iron ore from waste in 2030 as part of a new remediation operation.
In terms of sales, it is projected that the sales volume of medium-grade Carajás products will be 33 million tons in 2025 and 50 million tons in 2026. Sales of PFC (Pellet Feed China) total iron content will be 26 million tons in 2025 and 40 million tons in 2026.
Iron Ore Solutions products sold in 2025 are expected to have an average iron content of 62.5 percent.
C1 production costs, which include mining, rail and port costs, are estimated at US$21.3 per tonne for 2025 and between US$ 20 and 21.5 per tonne in 2026. Total costs, including C1 plus freight, other expenses, and insurance premiums, are projected at $55 per tonne in 2025 and between $52 and $56 per tonne in 2026.
