According to statistics published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year, the domestic producer price index (PPI) for the Turkish industry as a whole increased by 0.84 percent month-on-month and by 27.23 percent year-on-year, while an average increase of 25.37 percent was recorded over the past 12 months.
In this month, the domestic PPI for Turkey's main steel industry increased by, while the average increase in the domestic producer price index over the past 12 months was 14.72 percent.
On the other hand, in November, the domestic producer price index for Turkish steel production, except for mechanical engineering, increased by 1.09 percent compared to September and by 23.82 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile, the average growth of the PPI index by 22.93 percent has been recorded in the sector under consideration over the past 12 months
