In September this year, Japanese vehicle production (including cars, trucks and buses) totaled 760,764 units, down 0.1 percent from the same month in 2024, according to data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA). Meanwhile, the country's auto exports totaled 362,672 units in September, down two percent from last year. From January to September, Japanese car exports remained virtually stable year-on-year at 3,063,209 units.
