Lack of competitive risks in the pipe segment
The deal involves Metinvest obtaining sole control over the Romanian manufacturer of small-sized welded carbon steel pipes AMTP Iasi. After examining the combined market presence of the companies in their respective product segments, the Commission concluded that the merger would not significantly hinder competition.
