Turkey's HRC exports increased by 25.5% in January-October 2025

In October of this year, exports of hot rolled steel (HRC) to Turkey totaled 202,465 metric tons, down 32.9 percent from September and up 34.6 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, revenue from these exports amounted to $115.33 million, down 31.6% from the previous month and up 24.8% year-on-year.

In the first ten months of this year, Turkey's HRC exports totaled 2.50 million tons, an increase of 25.5%, while the value of these exports increased by 13% to $1.45 billion, year-on-year.

Export of hot rolled coils to Turkey - the last 12 months

During this period, Italy was the largest export destination of HRC to Turkey with 742,599 tons, which is 28.5% more than last year. Italy is followed by Spain with 402,329 tons, which is 65.1% more, and Portugal with 210,770 tons, which is 88.7% more than in the same period last year.
