In Berdsk, in the production room of an organization that specializes in casting non-ferrous metals, during the overflow of metal from one container to another, a graphite sieve burst and molten metal fell into the water with a jet, resulting in an explosion.

The victims were: the director, the cutter, and the hand-molded moldmaker.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of labor protection requirements).

It remains a mystery why the director was in the danger zone, and even without the appropriate PPE.
