Daily steel production at CISA plants fell by 6.4% at the end of November, and inventories also fell.

The China Association of Metallurgy and Steel (CISA) announced that at the end of November (November 21-30) this year, the average combined daily crude steel production by large and medium-sized steel mills in China - by all CISA members - amounted to 1.818 million tons, which is 6.4 percent less than in mid-November (November 11-20) this year.

In mid-November, the average daily production of crude steel by large and medium-sized metallurgical enterprises in China amounted to 1,943 million tons, which is 0.9 percent more than in early November (November 1-10) of this year.

The stock levels of large and medium-sized metallurgical enterprises in China have decreased during this period. As of November 30, the stocks of finished steel of large and medium-sized metallurgical enterprises in China amounted to 14.28 million tons, having decreased by 8.5 percent compared with November 20.
