In January-November this year, China's finished steel exports totaled 107.717 million tons, up 6.7% year-on-year, according to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).
In November, China's finished steel exports totaled 9.98 million tons, up 2.0% month-on-month, while increasing by 7.5% YoY.
In November, imports of finished steel from China totaled 496,000 tons, down 0.8% month-on-month, while down 5.5% year-on-year. In the first 11 months of this year, China's imports of finished steel totaled 5.541 million tons, down 10.5% year-on-year.
Continued infrastructure development in countries participating in China's Belt and Road Initiative has provided a stable market for Chinese steel exports.
