India's coking coal imports through all the country's major ports between April and November for the financial year 2025-26 are provisionally estimated at 41.293 million tonnes, up 6.4 percent year-on-year, according to data received by the Indian Ports Association (IPA) on Monday, December 8.
SteelOrbis estimates that coking coal was shipped into the country in November 2025 was 5.233 million tons, up from 5.571 million tons in October. According to IPA data, the total volume of iron ore, including pellets, handled by all major ports between April and November is provisionally estimated at 31.633 million tons, down two percent from last year.
