In November of this year, pig iron production in Ukraine totaled 704,300 tons, an increase of 1.8 percent month-on-month and 29.7 percent year-on-year, according to data released by the Ukrainian Steel Association Ukrmetallurgprom.
In this month, the country's pig iron production fell by 1.1 percent compared to the previous month and increased by 18.5 percent year-on-year to 641,100 tons, while rolled products production totaled 589,100 tons, an increase of 10.3 percent month-on-month and 23.5 percent compared to the same month last year.
Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of this year, Ukraine produced 7.20 million tons of pig iron, an increase of 10.2 percent year-on-year, while crude steel production in this period totaled 6.81 million, an increase of 6.9 percent, and rolled products production totaled 5.97 million tons, an increase of 3.9 percent year-on-year.
